OKX Wallet is a non-custodial, decentralized, multi-chain wallet with a built-in DEX aggregator for cross-chain swaps, an all-in-one on-chain investment suite (DeFi), a heterogeneous multi-chain aggregated trading platform (supporting Crypto, Ordinals, and NFT), and DApp discovery features. With OKX Wallet, you can easily access over 1,000 DApp protocols, making it a true one-stop gateway to Web3.

If you are using a Chrome browser extension wallet to connect to DApps and want to set OKX Wallet as the default wallet, or selectively use another extension wallet such as MetaMask, you can follow the steps below.

1. Set OKX Wallet as the default wallet

Connect OKX Wallet in the Chrome browser extension.

After logging in, select the middle icon in the upper right corner > Settings > Preferences > Default Wallet > Default to OKX Wallet.

Once enabled, OKX Wallet will be prioritized by default when connecting to any DApp.

2. Switch freely to other extension wallets (e.g. MetaMask)

Go to your extension wallet > Select the middle icon in the upper right corner > Settings > Preferences > Default Wallet > Don't Default to OKX Wallet.

Then, open a DApp and the extension wallet at the same time.

You can also disconnect all existing DApp connections via selecting the middle icon in the upper right corner > Settings > DApps connection > Disconnect all.

After refreshing the page or reopening Google Chrome, open the wallet extension again. You will then be able to freely choose other wallets, such as MetaMask, when connecting to a DApp.
