If you overpay, contact the merchant to request a refund if the crypto hasn’t been released, or submit a dispute if the crypto has already been released. If you underpay, contact the merchant to make a supplementary payment. If you paid to the wrong account, coordinate with the merchant to release the crypto if they received the funds, or contact OKX Assistant.

  • If you've completed the payment and select I've paid, but the merchant hasn't released the crypto, the order is still incomplete.

  • If you notice that you've overpaid, you can contact the merchant via messages to discuss a refund.

What should I do if the order is already completed?

What should I do if I underpay the merchant?

  • If you realize you're underpaid after making the payment, you can contact the merchant via messages to negotiate a supplementary payment. The merchant will release crypto after confirming the additional payment.

  • If the merchant doesn't agree to proceed after the supplementary payment, you can request a refund. Once the funds are returned, cancel the order and place a new one.

What should I do if I send the payment to the wrong account?

What if I used a different payment method than the one selected?

  • If you pay using a payment method different from the one selected in the order, contact the merchant via messages.

What if I paid for a third-party account?

If the payment was sent to an account that doesn’t belong to the merchant, review how you obtained the payment details, contact the recipient immediately to request a refund, and cancel the order.

  • When submitting a dispute, provide clear proof of payment (such as screenshots or transfer records) to help speed up resolution.

  • You can submit a dispute while contacting the merchant; customer service will intervene if necessary.

  • The merchant's phone number shown on the page is a temporary virtual number and expires after 3 minutes. You can return to the order page to obtain it again.
